It shouldn’t be difficult to choose the best tutor for your student and we try and make the process as simple but tailored as possible. We seek out teachers with experience teaching students of all ages so your student can grow with that teacher or your whole family can fulfill all their tutoring needs.

I tutor because I love to help students grow better every day and find the true meaning to why they want to learn about the world. As a language learner and a teacher with ESL experience, I understand through first hand experience the struggles of trying to grasp a concept I can’t understand. The ability to help students through this struggle and better themselves is something that pushes me to be the best teacher I can be. I really enjoy one on one environments with students because my teaching style lends itself well to having a genuine conversation with the student while they learn. Because of this I can help teach students not only reading and writing, but also social studies, history, and a variety of other subjects.

The satisfying smiles from the students always encourage me to continue assisting the students on what they need in math and science. To me, math is not only about numbers and equations. It develops problem solving skills in real life and opens up the possibilities. Science helps us to understand and explain the phenomena we see daily. I would love to pass my passion about math and science to the students and support their success.

I love to see the “AHA” moments when students are connecting with the material – not just because they got the right answer, but because they truly understand the concepts and steps necessary to get there. I invite students to watch, learn, practice and reflect on the lesson. I like to go over what was easy and what was difficult, working together through the tough spots and giving lots of encouragement and positive feedback. The one-on-one or small group environment lends itself nicely to personalized tutoring and support. I enjoy getting to know each student while customizing the lessons and helping them apply what they’ve just learned.
